I have a couple questions regarding the JDM Gsr motor. My friend is planning on getting a Jdm gsr motor and we were wondering if JE pistons are the same for USDM and JDM motors........will the JE 9.0 comp pistons work on a jdm gsr motor or not.... and will the compression be a little bit higher cause of the jdm gsr higher stock compression. He is trying to get the motor built first and then add a Rev Hard Stage 2c kit later. Same questions for rods (Eagle)will they work on jdm gsr motors.......or are they different specs......

you should REALLY do a search before posting.

Yes, JE pistons will work in a B18c (Si-R) block and get the JE compression. The USDM (b18c1) and JDM (b18c) are identical.
