Re: B18C1 EK Coupe 1/4 mile (beerbongskickass)
yeah I totally forgot to drop my tire pressure down, it was at 40psi all day
I woulda probably ran more than the 5 times that I did but i have a tps problem that all of the sudden started after racing.

Dropping the tire pressure on your street tires (if that's what your running) won't help that much. You will need some drag radials or better yet slicks.
Sounds like you have a lot left in your motor though, seeing that it's built and all.

Yes, what were the 60's? Definately looks like there's alot more in the setup.

Yeah, why such a lower Hp number? At 14psi, and build bottom, you should be in the mid-300's, but I guess you will up the power later.

It's dependant upon the size of the turbo. He doesn't have an enormous turbo.

Re: B18C1 EK Coupe 1/4 mile (RyanCivic2000)
I still would of been expecting the HP to be around 300hp at that psi, and I would definately be disappointed if I had a gsr with rods, pistons, at 14psi putting out HP below 300 I mean you can't tell me that 259whp sounds low for 14psi gsr, and even with a smaller turbo, maybe 8psi.

I think you're to fixed on psi and forgetting that it's all about CFM.

r/t .159
60' 2.276
1/8 8.684
MPH 85.55
1000 11.067
1/4 13.110
MPH 110.15
I dont understand the tune myself, aparently its just rediculously conservative/safe. How can I tell the difference between the garrett GT series turbo's all I know about the one I have is that the compressor side is .70ar. I didnt build the car so im not sure about that part.
This was my second time ever on the drag strip(4th race ever) so im sure ill be able to better those times a bit as I get more experienced. I plan on having the car retuned for 16-18psi this summer once im working full time and then ill see what my hp is at.

Wow, that must have been a conservative tune!
Good traps dude, gut it (pull the seats), get some 22x8 slicks, and put down some mid 12's.

Only problem, I have huge front rotors(AEM) which I need a 16" wheel to clear. So either I go back to stock brakes or do some fender mods to run a 16" wheel w/ a slick
