B18c Sir OBD1 Injectors question
Hey all, Ive got a b18c SIR OBD1 conversion in my EG and ive just purchased a stage 1 GT full race kit, im getting 750cc RC injectors with it,
I Believe you need clips or something for the injectors? just wondering exactly what i need to do to install the injectors?
what have others done etc?
cheers

It depends upon the injectors themselves, whether or not you need a resistor box. You must first check to seen if the injectors you received are low or high impedence. The clips that you would use are EV1s (it's not really obd based as you think). I might be able to find a set, so let me know.

Find out if the injectors you plan to use are peak and hold(low resist.) or high imp.(saturated). What year is the motor? Like other said if the injectors are low imp., then you must get a resistor box. Either from a DSM or older honda/acura cars like from 88-91. And you'll need to get the RC injector clips which are OBD1 and just splice them into your stock injector harness.
Same goes with Saturated(high imp.) you'll need to splice them as well, but you won't need a resistor box. Or you can also use the Plug n Play injector clips. One side connects to the RC injectors and the other side clips into your stock injector clips. You could find them at http://www.xenocron.com, and other places.

Re: B18c Sir OBD1 Injectors question (VTECth1s)
thanks heaps for that mate, so im better off getting 550cc inectors to avoid needing a resistor box, geoff at full race said the 550cc ones are ok but 750 would be better, but id rather have less hassles.
its a 95 model B18c SiR motor.

Regardless of what size injectors are being used. If its low imp. you need a resistor box. And if its saturated injectors you don't need the use of a resistor box.

It's pretty simpl to install them, just make you get the proper injector clips. Then splice them into your stock injector harness.
