b18b1 with JRSC....any good?
does anybody have this set-up,if so how good is it? i'm thinking of getting a jrsc for my b18b1, anythoughts on this, should i get it or just get the cams and a 50 shot of NOS which would be cheaper. i found the jrsc for 1300 shipped to my door.
let me know any opinions before i buy.

yeah, does anybody have a b18b1 supercharged? if so, how good is it and did you feel a lot of power gain? what i really want to know is it the jrsc worth buying to put on my ls motor or not? i'm already going to buy the one i found, if i don't buy it, i'll let you know and you can buy it. 1300 shipped for the supercharger is a good price, but is the supercharger worth it? i hear a lot of people sell their jrsc and go turbo. just want to know opinions before i send my cash out tomorrow.
thanks,

it is good if you want dependable day to day driving. but if you want some good horsepower numbers go turbo. you will make a lot more power. i have dealed with ls supercharged and im not gonna lie you can make power but no more than 250 max. with a lot of work like cams injectors hondata headers port polish the blower.but it dependson what your gonna use it for

Re: b18b1 with JRSC....any good? (93hb)
so an ls with a jrsc is pretty good? what should i run with this jrsc at the track?
the one i found for 1300 is a used one from some guy i met. my car is pretty much stock. i just had the ls motor put in my hatch about a month ago. so the SC for 1300 is a good deal. i just want to be in the 13's with my hatch and i'll be satisfied. i'll either get the SC or get the crower cams and a shot of NOS. which one is best. the cams and the NOS will be cheaper, but then i will have to spray to get my power.
