Default B18B Sleeved block with 84mm or 86 mm pistons - Can I just do 550cc and Hondata?

Ok I just cracked a sleeve on a B18B and I'm going to rebuild my motor even bigger and stronger. I want to sleeve it, rods, crank, and do bigger pistons to bring it to a 2.0 displacement to spool my turbo quicker. My question is will hondata work with the bigger displacement or do I need a different computer? I have 450 dsm injectors and resistor box, I'll probably go even bigger on the injectors. Just needs some advice before I go spending away. Thanks Justin

Yes the Hondata will be fine but the injectors are dependant on what your horsepower goals are. Also MAX you will be able to sleeve safely on a B series block is 85mm. AN 86mm bore is for all motor and that is basically maxed out. Good luck.

I'll probably to 84 mm, isn't that close to 2.0 ? 350-400 hp is my goal, hondata.com says 450 are only good up to 300. do you have any recomendation on sleeves and pistons? I was thinking Darton ductile iron and JE 2618 pistons... Does anyone know much about dartons modular sleeves? any good? strong? anybetter? Thanks Justin

84.5mm will yeild a 2.0L LS motor. I would reccomend a slightly smaller bore incase anything ever happened and you needed to re-bore it, you want at least .5mm to spare. I would also reccomend going larger then 550cc injectors right off the bat with hondata, maybe 720cc, it will give you room to spare and should cover 400whp nicely. 550's will have trouble over 350 on stock fuel pressures.

I made 370whp with 550cc and 581.9whp with 750cc but do need to go BIGGER. Anyone wanna trade?

I do have a 255 lph intank fuel pump bbk, my next thought is what type of head gasket would I use since I have a 84 mm bore now? Also Darton has the MID sleeves part # 400-140 there modular ductile iron sleeves for a b18 motor and there already 84 mm , any opinions? THey look solid and there already bored out so I don't have to spend extra at my machine shop. Oh and if you crack a sleeve do you have to get a whole new block?

OK, someone help me out, and am I going too far for my 400 hp qoal. I live in Utah, so I'm at 5000 ft altitude and I have a T3/T4OE 54 trim W/ .63 a/r turbine and Drag I/C, I guess, what i'm asking is do I need all this to make 400 HP on a LS head.... NO VTEC OK, I'm having my head Port and Polished by Pro-machine shop around my area. so I will increase my flow.

I am not sure if this is allowed on this forum, but I no longer need my 550 p/h with resistor box if anyone is interested? I apologize if this is considered a for sale post

Dang - what kind of fuel pressure/duty cycle did the 750's see at that hp level?

Hondata will work fine with a larger displacement motor.

I run an integra LS ecu on my b21 engine. Not only is that a larger bore, but a LOT longer stroke too. It runs great after being tuned.
