b18B Block build up Questions
Sorry if this has already been covered, but Ive been on this site for a long time and i hardly ever ask repeated questions, so sorry in advance for perhaps this one.
I have a 4dr LS, gonna turbo it in the spring, over the winter i was thinking of buying an LS block and building it. My goal is to boost around 10-12 lbs daily with some peace of mind that my engine can handle it.
The question is, what should i do to accomplish this assuming I already have the block.
Thanks to anyone that can give me a helping hand here, and if you want to link me to a thread that I missed I wont be offended. - dave g

thats a good deal!
you can even roll with a blockguard (or not even) and headstuds for 10-12 psi. i ran a stock, oil burning ls last summer on 10-12 psi. put like 5k miles on it. i also plan on doing it again this winter. with a decent tune the ls is a very forgiving motor

I just built mine with Eagle rods, CP pistons, and ARP main studs with ACL/OEM bearings. Build went pretty smooth. I stayed OEM specs with an 81mm rehone. My suggestion is to get a helms manual and do everything to honda spec that's needed. Measuring the piston to wall clearance will depend on the manufacturer of the piston though. If you need really good advice, contat Earl on HT. He's helped me tremendously. Good luck!
