b18a/b ls turbo build to 7k safely? help!
ok so im still curious i wanna turbo my car to 7psi using a drag kit (t3/t4) turbo. i would like to get my stock revvs up to 7k safely... to do this i am going to buy a b18a/b block and build it up using eagle rods and a nice strong "flat" slug piston. as for the head i am going to wit crower 402t's or 403's, skunk cam gears, oem b18a innver valve springs and the rest will be oem b16a... will this accomplish my goal?
im not planning on revving the hell out of this motor once built i jus wanna be able to stay in boost longer since the 5500 "race shift at an ls might now be long enough once the turbo spools.

im not e dreaming the tubo is coming via loa and the build will be slow.
my main goal is safely 200 whp and to break into the 13's

HAHA! you can reach your goal with a stock motor while sleeping on a boat 5000 miles off the shore of Switzerland with 8 crackheads and a VW driver working on your car.

I used to rev my built LS to 9500. Now it has a spun rod bearing after mis-shifting and probably went to 11000, hehe.
All you really need is a good set of valve springs to rev the LS higher. Wheather you make power up there....who knows.
How will the "rest be oem b16"?? what the hell does that mean? Nothing in a vtec head will fit on a LS head except for the cam gears.

i meant the rest would be b18a.. (brain thinks faster then fingers can type).. actually the b16a inner valve springs do fit in the ls head.
