Default B18a/b crank pulley

Im building a motor for a friend who has a 94 civic. The power steering pump has the rib belt design but his b18a has the v-belts style. I have an extra b18b crank pulley laying around that has the grooved belt style for the p/s. Would the pulley be ok to use. I really want it all to be in perfect balance still. Or should I just rig up a pulley for the p/s and reuse the b18a pulley to assure balance?

as long as its an oem pulley and the belts line up it will be ok. honda motors are 0 balanced and only need the rubber dampner in the pulley(cept itr/ctr), so you cant use a cheap aftermarket one or a ctr/itr. little vibrations are absorbed into the rubber instead of vibrating your lower end.

so basically is wont make a difference because all crank pulleys or just slapped on at the factory and not balanced to the crank?

all the pulleys are balanced to zero so its like having nothing on the crank, but with vibration dampening.

but no, it wont make a difference.
