B18a/b crank pulley
Im building a motor for a friend who has a 94 civic. The power steering pump has the rib belt design but his b18a has the v-belts style. I have an extra b18b crank pulley laying around that has the grooved belt style for the p/s. Would the pulley be ok to use. I really want it all to be in perfect balance still. Or should I just rig up a pulley for the p/s and reuse the b18a pulley to assure balance?

as long as its an oem pulley and the belts line up it will be ok. honda motors are 0 balanced and only need the rubber dampner in the pulley(cept itr/ctr), so you cant use a cheap aftermarket one or a ctr/itr. little vibrations are absorbed into the rubber instead of vibrating your lower end.
