B16's out there with Turbo I need ur opinions
Ok I recently had a JDM GSR swap out and I wanted to try something different, so anyone out there with b16 swaps with turbo, I need to know how much are u putting down to the wheels, and what all have u beatin on the track and street, cause if I get good respondes I'll get a b16, if not back to the B18c1 for me.

If you do a search on the board, you'll see that b16s are making just as much power as the b18s are. The torque is a tiny bit less, but other then that their roughly similar. I believe its boostfed on here who has an 84mm b16 with 28-29 psi making 600+ whp. So its really up to you.

eh 600whp for a daily driven car is too much for me, i'll just stay with 390 to 400whp...thanks I know I can get 250whp at 8psi and probably about 390 anywhere from 12-15psi

I've got a JDM B16, with parts from the companies listed in my profile. I dont race though, and have a sleeper so I never get reved on or anything - making about 240hp
Sorry not very helpful

hey man its good, dont worry bout it, all I know is I know on the JDM GSR swap out I can get 270whp with the way i build my motor at a low psi, but I was hopping to get the same kinda results with the b16, cause I know like the JDM b16 is like 170hp and about 150 wheel hp so I mean its good..

Yeah I think I will go back to the GSR swap even tho I wont be able to get it cheap like I did before, but ya know...but I can always get the b16swap and run that for a min then get the b18c motor, and ecu and I'll be good, cause I would have the mounts, and axles...
The Axles should work on that b18 right? the axles that came with my b16 swap out?

Yes sir...also..I guess you could always go for the b16 swap..and swap out with a GSR block later on...thats if your up for it...b16s are very capable motors, but if i had my choice to start out..i would go for the GSR
