B16a2 Turbo it or Trash it?????????
I have a 99 civic si with the b16a2 in it. I was planning on buying a Greddy bolt on turbo. specific for my car. Now would it make more sense to keep the b16 and turbo it changing ALL internals? Or somebody told me to put a B18 block with the b16 head, then turbo it. what would make the most sense? more horse? what kind of combinations could i do between head and block. I drive this car daily. not far distances but daily. So what do you guys think?

Depends on your goals... If nothing crazy you could prossibly do it on the motor as it is now... also depends on its health... if you have access to parts cheaply... your budget... toooooons of stuff factors in.

My goal is to make it ******* fast!!! but still drive it. no budget i got a good job and lots of money in the bank. The motor only has 62,166 miles on it now. i have babied it. so the engine is perfectly fine. what combo makes more sense though? and what combo would put out more horsepower.....i am changing ALL internals also.

If you have the resources...AKA money, the B18 will give you more power obviously. But since you already have a B16, you have a good powerplant to start with. My 00 Si is pushing 340 Hp with just a 50 trim, soon to be much more. All depends on what your overall goal is. I feel as though 340 HP feels fast. What do you consider fast?
