b16a custom setup

ebay fmic 2.5 i.c. piping dsm 450cc injectors walbro 255 fuel pump tial 38mm wastegate hks ssq bov 3" down pipe missing link eg half radiator equal length custom top mount mani. so what do u think so far? and what would u suggest for tunning like hondata urberdata or anyother standalone cuz i dont want to use vafc and do i need anything else for fuel management? i have a pr3 obd0 if that matters. oh and i want to boost at around 8-11 hp goals are 250whp |

You need to do alot more searching, it's all there. You have OBD0, it isn't supported by Uberdata. Check out PGMFI.COM, start reading, if you want to go with Uberdata you'll have to convert to OBD1. If not, you can use TurboEdit, BRE, and I think Crome can be used for a couple of things. You'll also need a chipping kit, or chipped ecu, eprom chip programmer, etc.

No prob bud. But really the search function is amazing, that is why I have so few posts, I've simply never had to create one really, I just use search, and my answers pop up. Plus I hate having to wait on peoples responses. I'm putting together almost the same setup as you right now actually, you should get some good numbers, esp. if you convert to obd1.

U cannot run a missing link with a vafc, Hondata, etc. Missing links are to be used with FMU's only.

so would it be better for me to convert to obd1 instead of staying obd0? oh and im still gonna try to get this together cuz last night i got arrested for racing and i wasnt even speeding it was so gay but yeah my licence is definatly gone after that.

lol that sucks. If you have the money, definitely convert to obd1, the supporting programs for it (esp. uberdata/crome) are very precise and widely tuneable.
It seems that the turboedit/bre guys are having a bit more trouble with some of the .bins for the obd0 vtec ecu's, but I think they are working all the kinks out so keep an eye out in the forums on PGMFI.COM in the OBD0 VTEC section. You may be fine running your current ecu, only $15 to chip it, and you need a EPROM burner anyway, couldn't hurt to try for 15 bucks IMO! Use a basemap, and read, and get some practice working with some of the OBD0 programs and toying with the maps. Check out the library and newb sections on PGMFI.COM it will help. |

I say convert to obd1 and go neptune all the way. Neptune is a very good program and is quite a bit less than hondata s200 w/ boost option.

If he has the money, converting to OBD1 would be great, it has much more support. But, BRE and TurboEdit are making some great progress, and from what it seems, BRE has worked out pretty much all the kinks. To convert to OBD1 you'll have to buy an OBd1 ecu ($80-125) plus you'll have to pay to have it chipped, or buy a chipping kit and solder it in yourself, an OBD1 distributor, etc., it's not a cheap thing to do. Like I said if you have the money, by all means, go for it, but otherwise, you can use one of the OBD0 programs just fine. https://honda-tech.com/forums/images/smilies/emthup.gif
