B16-T: what exhaust to run???

B16-T: what exhaust to run???
i was just wondering if its better to run a smaller muffler exhaust when turboed or open it up with a canister exhaust like a hks hi-power or something... any help appreciated its a newb question i know but just thought i'd ask TIA

3" from the turbo back and a muffler with a straight through design as opposed to a chambered muffler would be one of your best options from a performance standpoint. Hell you don't even need a muffler

imo its more bling than anything else. For half the price you can run a simple ss 3" magnaflow turbo oval muffler.
The extra money saved can be used for other more important parts for your setup.

also the hks and apexi exhaust for hondas are only 60mm (2.38"). just go to kteller.com and pick up some 3" piping and a nice muffler. much cheaper anyways.

ive always driven quiet cars i have an rsr ex mag on it right now for daily drive use but i want to get another exhaust for my new turbo application something that is a little bigger for better flow...i guess kind of bling too

Get the 3" piping kit with a 3" hi-flo cat and a 3" resonator and a 3" muffler. Will be quiet enough.
I personally have a full 3" downpipe to a 3" kteller exhaust to a 3" inlet 4.25" outlet ebay muffler. Loud? Yes.. but it's a deep loud.. not a zing zing.

ill probly go full 3" exhaust high flow cat into an apex or hks im still torn on which exactly.

like i said the hks and apexi are not 3" for hondas
