Default b16 stock, comp. at 10:4 safe to turbo? (searched)

hello guyz i just got a complete jdm b16a 2gen but its cable. want to swap this into my 93 eg. my question is. would it be safe to turbo. the compression is at 10:4?

and can i just get low compression pistons and use my stock b16 rods?

plus what do u think i should do about the cable/hydro situation? should i get a conversion or sell the cable tranny and get a hydro?

can u guyz help me on what to do with this situation? the motor is obd0 and i need to put it in my obd1 car. i know i need a different distributor, wiring harness, driver side bracket, shift linkage. would my obd1 vtec wiring harness work? i've searched.
thanks in advance.

compressions fine...and just sell the cable and get a hydro...

yes stock pistons would work if you wanted to use aftermarket pistons but if your going through the trouble for the pistons just get some eagle rods for 300

Sell it all and put it toward a true SIR2 swap or something else that's OBD1...

By the time you're done swapping transmissions, sensors, distributors, injectors, ECU's, etc... you will wish you had scrapped the OBD0 swap from the get go.

Good luck.

SiR and SiRII are trim levels. So yeah, you probably do have an SiRII motor.
Your confusing SiRII with 2nd gen.
