Default B Series plugs in a D series Q?

I cant find D series plugs around my area in the heat range that i would like to use. However, i can get the heat range with my ls motor that im looking for. what i wanna know is this: will a b series plug work just the same in a d series engine?

ZFR7F-11 doesn't work? I've used that before in my B16.

It should work, the BKR7E's have a shorter nose and strap than the ZFRs.

AFAIK ZFR7F-11 is the same ZFR-style plug recommended for a D16Z6, just two heat ranges colder than stock.

I personally prefer normal coppers. I'm running the same bkr7e-11s that i run in my b18c... that i run in my d16z6 ( i just gap the z6 ones down to 30)

Use these!

BKR7E will also work fine.

Odd... like I said, I used to use these until I found a supply of BKR7E's. Oh well, use the BCP's.

BKR7E's will work fine. In other words the "B series Plug" will work in the D series just the same. Stock number 6097.

2 steps colder, shorter plug reach and ground strap. Under boost/nitrous useage the long ground strap cannot transfer heat quick enough, ends up become a glow plug.......

Stock......

Champions that ZEXman suggested, notice you can read the ground strap temp range.......

switched to Ford 30# injectors.......

No pics of when I used the 5671's but they burned cleaner and no more melting ground strap.

R5672A-7 (I use the -9's 4 steps colder than stock)
have a slightly longer reach intot he chamber and thus allow for better ignition of the chamber mixture. It helped me out with some slight issues I had.
