B-H tuned turbo LS
Boosted Hybrid tuned two turbo LS blocks this past Saturday at Xotics. Highmilehatch already posted his dyno graph, but here is the graph and specs on the other car.
Tuned at 18psi
Air/fuel was 12:1 under boost, total timing was 19 degrees.
The bumps in the torque and whp on the graph are a result of the boost bouncing from 17~18psi during the runs.
2000 Integra turbo Ls
Revhard manifold, 54 trim t3/t4oe, 2.5" dp, 3" exhaust, Greddy type 31 intercooler, 550cc injectors, Walboro 255lph fuel pump, AEM fpr, JE pistons (9.5:1) and eagle rods, stock head and valvetrain, Hondata s200 and 3bar map sensor, 55psi fuel pressure.
This car pulls super hard in the mid-range, but the power is so low at 18lbs since his intercooler in inefficient and the cylinder head and cams are becoming restrictive. The car has a very "unhonda like" powerband; it pulls more like a VW 1.8T. The owner of the car is switching a few items on the car and coming back for tuning to hit the 350whp mark.

Re: B-H tuned turbo LS (50trim EK)
was that a .48a/r exhaust side Andrea? The torque looks sick on that graph. the power seems to die off quick thats what makes me think its a .48a/r.

Re: B-H tuned turbo LS (DC2R714)
Its a .63a/r housing. Jeff mentioned the intercooler being a huge issue with this engine not making alot of power. It was 40-50 degrees hotter intake air temps than Highmilehatch's spearco intercooler.
The tuning was all done on 93 octane.

Re: (System-7)
Intercooler, cams, intake manifold and downpipe are all contributing factors for the lack of horsepower. He needs to keep his torque from falling off on the high end, an intake manifold and cams will make a large difference in breathing for the engine.

Those are some pretty good numbers. I can't wait to get my tuned by BH next month when I get back from my vacation. I got one question, when running 17+lbs can you also use a missing link instead of a 3bar map sensor?
