50% are gonna say stock
50% are gonna say d.s.s.

depends if you dont want to break axles. if not, go with d.s.s.
if you dont mind fixing stuff between rounds, and believe in the lifetime auto zone replacement stuff, go that route.

I'm still rockin the OEM Axles. If you go to AutoZone, you can get a lifetime warranty in case of the inevitable; however, i dont forsee myself needing that option....then again, i'm not exactly a regular at the strip

>I have Raxles, its a better than OE quality step in between Honda and DSS...

i've just been replacing my auto zone ones for years. the dds level 2 or whatever ones are looking good though. i think they are like $700. it sucks replacing axels in the pits.

contact raxles. He can build them to suit you, and they came at a much cheaper price tag. They wont be anywhere near DSS level but its a better option than autozone.

heres the driverside broken axle. it broke at the spline as you can see from a 1-2 shift. these are Vatozone axles. not even that old either as I have a lifetime warranty. this is at about 400whp. I'm trying to figure out what I'm going to do, because I thought as long as I preloaded off the line, then the rest would be ok. I thought it was initial shock that break axles, but I must say, a 1-2 shift has a pretty good shock, so I'm stuck on what to do.

I know a couple people that run 10s on stock axles without preloading at all, with anywhere from about 400-600 whp. You may have just gotten unlucky, take em in and get new ones.
