ATTN. Anyone with Golden Eagle Mfg. block!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There is something we changed in our policy and I will explain why. We have finally found something that will prevent the sleeves from rusting, so this is what you should do:
Every block should have "Bar's Leaks Radiator Stop Leak and Conditioner" added to the coolant. This product has shown to be a very big asset to our blocks. Not only does it keep the sleeves from rusting, but it also conditions the water pump and prevents water seepage from the sleeves to the oil chamber. We strongly suggest using this in your blocks, or anyone you kow that has a block or ours, or anyone that has a sleeved block from someone else. You can get this product from any auto store for about $3.00. Just add it to your coolant and follow the directions on the bottle. You only need to purchase the 5.5 oz. bottle for your Honda/Acura motor. Part number is either C16 for the 10 fl. oz. bottle or R6 for the 5.5 fl. oz. bottle. Check it out at http://www.barsleaks.com/ Remember, we only back Bar's Leaks as the product to use, do not use anything else!!!!! If you have any questions, please feel free to let me know. Thanks for your time.

Every sleeved block rusts, no matter who it is from. The rust does not pose a problem at all, it is just the nature of the ductile iron to rust easily. I just like to have it as perfect as possible. So as there have been no complaints of this happening, I want to keep it that way and make it better for everyone. Just a little heads-up is all!!!

Actually, it is for all types of blocks. You see, the three major manufacturers, General Motors Corp., Ford Motor Co. and DaimlerChrysler all add this stuff to their cars before they hit the sale lot. It is just a good preventative measure to ensure there are no problems later on. Remember, This is not a problem. I am just making sure it doesn't become one!!!!!!

Like I said before, this should be done on ALL aftermarket sleeved blocks ( From any one like Golden Eagle Mfg, RS, Benson's, A.E.B.S., Darton, etc. ) I just don't want anyone to see some rust and say that sleeving a block sucks. Although it takes a little more maintanence, sleeved blocks can be just as reliable as stock if the proper precautions are taken. Adding Bar's Leaks is one of the precautions. Just to make life a little easier for everyone!!!!!

Yes, Bar's Leaks is compatible with Water Wetter. Although Water Wetter helps to prevent rusting also, I still suggest some Bar's Leaks!!!! Like I said, Please let anyone know who has a sleeved Golden Eagle Mfg. block that this is what to use. It is a must!!!! Thanks all!!!

Vince,
Just wanted to stop and let you know your **** is madtite y0!
Seriously though, my block looks great and I got it back in a very reasonable amount of time. Now I just have to put it back together.
Thanks.

Use it everytime you flush and re-fill. For about $3.00, it is great piece of mind!!!

My computer shows you are still being worked on out in the back. Your block must have come in on the second wave of the Gilstrap blocks. It should ship this week. Call for the tracking number!!! (909) 592 - 4311
