Default ATT: H22 turbo guys -WHAT TRANNY???

most of you guys making over 450hp and running 10's .besides going h2b what tranny are you using and clutch setup. After granading over 5trannys i have decided to go with a dogg box and twindisk competition clutch, i have also recently switch my cables and box to the new accord style and added a custom plate like the kseries use along with a kaaz lsd. Since it is winter here in canada i cant try out the car and see if the gears go in down the track but i always have in the back of my head the gears are going to lock out at high rpms.

Now my question is for you guys running 10.99or lower what setup are you running (tranny, lsd, cables, box, clutch ect?

Thanks.......

so far my setup is an h22 we were at 15psi making 454whp and 341wtq but upping it up to get about 550-600hp by spring.

Just curious, why did the other trannys break? I will be using my stock H22 Trans with a quaife and comp twin in my 700+ setup.

my cables were used binding and the gears would struggle to go in , im guessing that was my issue, after changing the cables and box i went down the track but they werent opening up again. the tranny was hurt from before plus the clutch was done. i was running previously a stage 4 competition clutch and a 4puck eurodrive clutch.

It seems like a new cable setup, a newer good condition tranny and a new good clutch would solve your problems.

i use a stock 97-01 H22 Trans with quaife LSD and comp. clutch twin disc. i've never had a problem getting it into gear when i shift around 9400 rpm *knock on wood*. my only problem so far has been a broken 2nd gear.

u know what everyone iknow that is using a twindisk cc clutch has had no problems, looks like that might have been my issue. i really wanted to run a stock tranny next year instead of the dogg box since its going to be a headeak on the street.
