Arias / CP / JE / SRP brand name make any difference?
Hey i am considering buying my new pistons and im wondering if brand name makes a difference? I previsouly had arias pistons and was pretty happy with them but are cp/srp/je any better/worse than one another or arias?
Also, would 9.7:1 compression be ok for boost? I know its all in the tuning but i want it to be reliable too ya kno... so im tornbetween 9:1 or 9.7:1
thanks for any advice

its all user preference when it comes down to it. There are so many choices otu there that it can be daunting. Just use what you are comfortable with. all brands listed will work great if properly setup

Like B18bturbo said, its all preference on what you want to use. You'll get so much hype about one brand, but it doesnt mean its WAY better than other brands. If the piston was bad, then no one would be using them.
Each brand has their own successful racers using them. So it proves that they all do work.
We use Arias exclusively because we know we can work with them closely on alot of the engine builds that we do. If we want custom wrist pins for 800hp turbo car to custom compressions and bores, Arias does alot of custom pistons for us.
Other brands are good to, but yes its all preference for each person.

Re: (exospeedAMcrx)
If i can throw my $0.02 in I go with ARIAS as well...
I have had a set survive a nasty horrible cylinder crack and still was re-useable.
They run one of the tightes piston to wall clearances, I like that.
From what I've heard, Arias also makes thier piston differnt by having different ringland sizes from most others. U can only use arias rings with arias pistons.
