Apex I AVC-R questions
Ok, I had the avcr installed in my 94 turbo lude. The oil light kinda comes on adn off at times. The oil level is fine, no leaks or anything. Also, I need help on reading some of the numbers and different lingo. Like i want to set my low boost at 6-7 and the high at 10. How do i do this? I tried to do the self learn and didnt work out for me. Also try to do the gears learning and didnt work

as far as the oil light, have you done any work to it latly. I know sometimes the connector seems like its in place when its not, so you may just have to give an entra push on the connector.

First off what size wastegate spring are you running? That will be your OFF setting on the AVC-R.
To setup for 6-7 psi(if your wastegate spring is lower then this). You will need to goto setting A. Set the boost level to what you want(.4-.5 BAR). Then start low on the duty cycle. I would say around 40% or so. Then slowly go up until you reach close to the boost level you want. It will go into self learning mode and change the duty cycle % by RPM to keep a steady boost level. Do the same for the B setting set the boost level to .7 BAR(10.25 psi) and star the duty cycle at the A setting and go from there to start tuning for 10 psi.

Re: (PreludeSiTdriver)
If the wire was bad the oil light would never come on, or would sporadically "never come on". The dash oil light gets ground through the oil pressure switch/the block. Disconnect it and the light stays out.
