Is anyone using this turbo GT35/40R ball bearing
I was just wondering if anyone is running this turbo or if anyone has heard of it? It suppose to be that you get all the benefits of the GT35R with the top end of the GT40

thanks for those links but I already saw those from when I searched earlier but I'm looking for info on the GT35/40R. I was told there it was better that running the GT35R and I'm trying to find out whats so better. The only thing I could think of is that it might have more top end.

the 35 puts out mid to high 600's, and spools faster the the 40
the 40 puts out mid to high 700's
If your just the average joe who would like to run 10's and have a great spooling turbo that makes a lot of power and your gona run a b16 block go with the gt35.
I'm just assuming you have a b16 because of your name here on ht..

You know what happens when you assume...
Dameon isn't the "average joe"...trust me... And the engine is not a b16, his daily driver is an SI with a bone stock LS Turbo. He is looking for info for his drag car, thats where these questions are comming from.
The engine that the new turbo is going on is a built 2.0 that recently put down 400whp @ 10psi! He's looking for a better turbo.

How much power is he looking to make and what class is this car being built for?

I don't want to say too much, Dameon can fill in the blanks if he wants, but the car will be setup to run T/4. The car is sponsored by my shop, Next Level Performance here in Va. Beach and will travel with my C/4 car next season.
