anyone used the old apexi super avc-r boost control or know how to convert kg. to psi?

anyone used the old apexi super avc-r boost control
as title, on the boost setting it show reading boost from 0.6-1.5kg. do i have to set my boost first before dyno tune or i can set it on the dyno. need help on setting boost?
