Default anyone use dsm turbo pipes for their turbo apps?

the stock dsm turbo pipings are like like rubber hoses..kinda looks like radiator hose..but bigger and thicker..do you think its ok to use? its going on a garret t3 with a z6 block, y8 head..in a 90 hatch.

it was cheap and ugly, its not as ugly as some of the other methods. I've been using it for along time. I have a leak, but its not due to the pipes its my connections.

I use it , works for me
its about 2-2.25"
the reason DSMers get rid of it for hard piping is becuase it expands. but yea it gets the job done, I still use like 65% of the stock piping. you'll gain more power with hard piping though

Yea, they're made for pressure and heat...worked perfect on my last set up and I'll probably use the old ones again until I replace little by little with metal.

Yea, just misc. pieces of exhaust piping in between. It was half metal piping and half rad hose.

Half of my piping is made up from large diameter radiator hose.
Its rated at well over 30psi, and wont expand or "baloon" at all.
Very strong stuff.

crap, I see it doesn't show much of the piping, LOL. You can see it start right there on the left. I have the charge piping laying in my room and if you guys really want a pic I can take one.

I ran 19 psi on my DSM with radiator hose and and random tubing that looks like the stuff in the pic above, so it should handle most applications.
