Anyone running the omnipower 4 bar map sensor yet ?
I am going to order a hondata s300 from phearable.net. I also was trying to decide between a 3 bar and a 4 bar map sensor.
I wanted to see if anyone has any feedback on the omnipower 4 bar map sensor ?
I like the idea of a plug and play sensor that looks stock.
For those of you that have not seen the sensor I found it here: http://www.phearable.net/shopp....html

We have sold tons of these things & tuned a hand full of cars on them.
We have not had one single problem with any of them

from what I read, it is a modded motorola map sensor, so i assume the performance of the omni is identical to a properly installed moto...

Re: (White95Hatch)
They work great. I've got one on my car, and haven't had any issues yet. I got it from Phearable.net as well.
Honestly, it was as simple a remove and replace. Done.

Re: (akira712)
From the pictures I've seen, it looks like they used the small freescale (aka motorola) sensor is glued in there w/o any filler. The OEM sensor is filled solid, with an o-ring keeping pressure from entering the small cavity that's left. Meaning it will be prone to failure if the sensor isn't completely sealing the inlet.

Re: (HiProfile)
I've had mine sitting in my bedroom drawer for months, just waiting to get some dyno time before putting it on. I know it should work fine with my stock b18c but why ruin a good thing!

Re: (JDogg)
Tuned a few cars with them, had 2 of the them fall apart while tuning. Had to switch to a 3bar map sensor. Had one of the sensors putting out a consistent voltage on the signal wire, troubleshooted the wiring and all was stock. Put a 3bar on and it worked fine. The ones that worked were great. Good thing i didnt sell the customers the sensors, they were all really pissed...

Re: (RACEPAK)
warranty or not if you dont tune at the shop you got it from your probably gonna have to switch to something else on the dyno to get your car tuned, the downtime(for lack of a better word) for these is what will turn them into a shitty product.
just like boosted hybrid said, to get the car tuned he installed a 3bar. so now the guy who bought it will have to try and get $ back for the map sensor as hes running a different one (that he will be at the mercy of the tuner to supply him with).
