i secured mine with velcro right on top of the steering column. not the prettiest solution, but it works well becasue you can see it, hear it (beeps if you overboost) and you can rip it off to change the switch in the back if you want to lock/unlock the devivce. moutign it more permanently in some other location wouldn't afford you that last option...

just in front of where the swaybar mounts on the left side of the engine bay there...ahhh hell let me go look......you can secure it nealty right under the mounting point of the ABS motor relay...you might need a longer bolt...i dont remember...this is on a 96 GSR btw...HKS says that none of the hoses shoudl be any longer than 3 feet...keep it as close to everything as possible.

we had to pull the wires out of the plug to get them through...you can pop them out and back in again...tape them to the end of a long screwdriver to poke them through......just draw a diafram of the connector...i think we went through one of the holes where the main ECU cables come through...i assume this is in a similar location on the 92 gsr? i don't know.....
good luck
