I recently bought a T3/4E Turbo.

It has alot of side to side shaft play, anyone know of any places around the NYC area that rebuilds them and roughly how much it would be???

I mean it doesnt move that much to have the blades it the wall but i think its signifacant

I had a turbo rebuilt by blue ribbon turbo once, I thought they did a fine job. Other people have complaints about them, but they are in NY.

$70 for a mainternance kit and $136 for a 360 degree thurst bearing kit.
It took me less than 2 hours for the rebuild.

Majestic turbo did my rebuild. I wouldnt order the rebuild kit simply because you need to balance the shaft and you need the machines to do that. Majestic is really awesome with great customer service. Ask for Robert or Kevin. I deal with Robert alot and he knows me personally. Tell him Arturo, or art, sent you...

majestic turbo did a great job on the rebuild of my turbo and the turn around was great (well that is if you shipped it next morning and the same back hehe) sent mine out and it came back the day after.

I have yet to send a turbo to Majestic. I wish my turbo would die so I can send one to Kevin. Well, I don't really want my turbo to die. However he is just so friendly and patient on the phone and really shows he wants to help (almost the Mother Theresa of turbo if you can imagine) that I feel compelled to send him mine even though it still works.

When mine finally needs a rebuild, Majestic will get it.
