ANyone Having problems w/ the HOLLEY 68mm TB ? ? ? ... STUCK issues
Sup guys.. i'm running this damn TB on my car w/ a JG edelbrock IM and the gas pedal gets stuck a lot....
IT will stick after i get off the gas in 5th gear... sometimes in 1st... i go to hit the gas & a stiff pedal.....
NOt sure whats up with it.... its on a GSR motor.... the angle of the Throttle Cable is weird but not sure if thats creating the problem...
NEED SUGGESTIONS PLEASE

Re: (99SlammedCivic)
check the butterfly. there are two screw on it, it may have a screw lose. I know mine started to work themselves lose once and the butterfly moved just a little, but it was enough to get the TB stuck. I also noticed that i needed to adjust the TB so it wasn't going negative when i let off the gas pedal. So adjust the trottle stop some, so it doesn't go negative and get stuck. FYI it gets stuck when going negative due to carbon build up at that area, atleast that's what I found.
other than that, my only other little issue is that sometimes it gets a little gummy and likes to hold 3% trottle, but i contribute that to carbon build up as well.
