Default Re: anyone have a spearco water injection kit? (gsR-T mode)

Yeah i had the spearco water injection kit for a bit on my car. I ran it for over a year and recently sold it to a friend and bought the aquamist 1s (well didnt buy it yet, but got in on the groupbuy for it). The kit is very basic, and the parts used are simple, effective and work. The kit is dated compared to the aquamist, but it gets the job done quite well. I used 50/50 alcohol/water mixture which work extremely well and allowed me to run 18lbs on my b18b, and 14lbs on my b16 both of which were stock blocks. If you run alcohol (denatured alcohol from home-depot) your octane rating jumps significantly, something like 93 octane turns into 102 or a bit higher. Anyway the water/alcohol mixture is the way to go with the kit. Hope that helps.
