Default anyone have some good advice???

Ok I have been working on this h23 vtec motor for a while and put it all together minus the head.

I am debating on sparying on this motor. Not sure yet. My bottom end is Iron sleeved, crank was balanced, and rods shot peened and cyro frozen. I have J.E. 11:1 pistons and total seal rings. Everything is looking good. Head has skunk2 springs+retainers stock valves and crower stage 2 cams.

My question is should I take it back apart and change the rods. I dont want to but could do it later. I just dont want to be disapointed when I want to spray and am scared to break something.

So what do I do? I am so confused! thanks guys
