Default anyone have a problem with the greddy oil return line leaking?

got the 18g in today and to my surprise the guy sent hte feed and return line, the return line is rubber and has heat wrap around it, curious if anyone had a ny problems with the return line leaking being that it is rubber and not steel braided.

Doubt it. Stainless braided line is uber overkill. There isn't supposed to be any pressure in the drain line.

just got mine 15G today, and as I know a lot of people are complaining about the fitting that goes to the oil pan - I'll try to replace mine with one that goes inside the oil pan instead of the original one, that's all

Just get a steel braid line. That is the first thing I do. It costs less than $20 which is cheap insurance against dumping your oil all over the road because you wanted to skimp on $20. Even the steel braid hoses will eventually need replacement due to heat. I would not trust that red rubber hose that comes with Greddy kit.

My greddy 15G has been running a rubber oil return for 4 years now, works fine.

well the 18g you have to drill into the oil pan, i bought the kit used, so is there supposed to be a gasket on the fitting that goes on the oil pan?
