anyone have a pic of a black Tial BOV??
looking for a pic of a black tial bov and i cant seem to find one... lots of polished ones, blue, red, and gunmetal (looks to be discontinuded )
so can someone hook me up with a pick of a black Tial 50mm mounted on a car? thanks

yeah thats how i usually do ****, but this project needs to be ghetto-free...me painting **** usually is considered ghetto...

i don't know if they are the same color or not, but my black tial wastegate doesn't look gunmetal at all like that. Its much darker.

Get it anodized, the housing is aluminum - I'm not sure about the piston.

heres a few pics i just took of mine.
and heres the last one, i noticed when i first got the BOV, with the flange on it kinda looks like a frog with its mouth open
thats the black BOV, still looking around for a black wastegate though, gotta pick one up

ive found the discoloration of the black anodizing to be a problem on all black anodized parts.. Especially those exposed to uv (yes, carbon fiber hoods allow uv rays through, so dont even start with that)
on our bikes and cars, it starts to turn purple over time... ironically enough a sharpie works well to touch up knicks and major discolorations

well i guess im not getting my intercooler anodized...BBQ black will have to do with some touch ups

haha, i have a 50 dollar assitance fee for situations like this
what i had considered doing was the black diamond coating... its expensive and is really for anti-friction properties... we use it on rocker arms, fork tubes, and other contact surfaces on bikes.
but its looks uber bling and doesnt fade, just not the most cost effective solution and since i have a bomex front bumper, everyone is looking at my car already, so it would be a shame to hide my really nice and big pwr
