Same problem here on 750's. I cant even drive to a dyno.

(To the original poster) Just get a wideband installed and tune it out. Since the surging/dying is caused by a rich/lean condition. Going rich then lean causes the idle surge, whereas the rich condition causes the dying.

Re: (Unsivil_audio)
I have a 9.5:1 basemap for 1000cc injectors, fully built w/ ITR cams....
Tony1 burned the basemap for me.
Idles smoothly and runs like a champ.

Re: (JDM00SI)
I'm running 780's...on a D16, idling perfect @700rpm. I've noticed that you sometimes need to add 15-30% more fuel than calculated when you scale to peak and hold injectors. SOmetimes the motors I've dealt with will idle very rivh or lean, despite being warmed up, stock/larger injectors, closed or open-loop. My suggestion is to use the wideband, since things get tricky with very small pulsewidths.
If nothing else, start it up, adjust the FPR up/down until it will idle lower. If that works, you know which way to head.

i'm using hondata for tuning. i could have got some lower injector size, but when i made a post on what to get. most people were suggesting 1000cc to go with my setup. now the idle will surge around 1k to 1.3k rpm rough and after idle for a few min. the car idle will drop down to 200rpm and up to 800rpm and then will die out.
