I think a 3" downpipe is more than enuff,4" would be kinda of a waste as you can see the outlet is only 2.75" on the SC61 so a 3" will handle it with no back pressure.

I know st00pid ran a 4" dp, i think it was on an SC61. Ill try and find the post.

Since the outlet is only 2.75" How are you guys flaring it to that size? Using Vband or just a regular downpipe?

From what I have seen personally you weld a standard 3" off the flange and then flare it out to a 4". That is the best way to do it.

The 4in dp was built by shami (chamois) for a T4 setup, not the SC61, it wouldnt take much to build a 4in dp for any turbo as long as you have the room.
