anyone that can tune or knows about zdyne please help.
i followed this to make my basemap for my turbo d16 A basic procedure for building a forced induction tune from a factory naturally aspirated tune.
1. Follow the general guidelines laid out in Getting Started for your first connection to the SECU, and the upload tune techniques.
2. Go to File-Open, and load up a naturally aspirated ZDY file that corresponds to your engine type. ex. PM6.ZDY for the 88-91 Civic or CRX, B16A.ZDY for the B16A hybrid.
3. Go into Tools-Configure SECU.
Under RPM:
Raise your Idle Speed is set to 800 RPM to compensate for larger injectors.
Under Configuration:
Make sure Enable Forced Induction option is checked.
Make sure you have selected the appropriate MAP sensor.
Under Open Loop:
Set the Throttle Above value to 80%
Set the MAP Above value to 2.90 volts
Upload the settings now, or be sure to do it later.
4. Go into Tools-Tune Wizard. See Using the Tune Wizard for details.
The Injector Recalibrator
Recalibrate the naturally aspirated tune for larger injectors. For 450s, simply pull down the 450 Standard Injector Recurve selection, and hit OK.
The Forced Induction Generator
Ignition Advance: enter 1.0 deg per lb of boost
Fueling Boost Compensation: enter 150% and hit OK.
5. You are done.
Describe the tune in the Tune Information box.
Use Save As to save as a new file.
6. Upload your new tune. See Getting Started for details.
so i did that and the car runs pretty good but is lean at full throttle.. and even at idle its lean which might not be important but full throttle is and i need to add more fuel .. im gonna do a st tune tommorro but i need to know what i should adjust to give it some more fuel... im using the zdyne 450cc injectors and stock timing is set to 15* on the dist .. timing retard i set to .5* per psi and everything else i set exactly to what u see in the instruction.. so what should i adjust to give it some more fuel? and how high should i set it to start cause what they give u there makes it somewhat lean at WOT , its a t3t4 57 trim turbo . stock internal d16 , im running like 15 psi ..

Have you tried pgmfi.org??? I'm sure someone there could help you. I would answer the question, but I have never used this proggy. GL.
Edit:
For some reason I confused zdyne with turboedit or bre. Anyway, sorry bro can't help u.

Leave base timing at 16*, set timing retard to 1*/psi instead to start out safe. Set boost fuel compensation to 180% as well.
Just add fuel in the idle map areas, and at WOT.Which is the last 2 rows before boost tables. Set boost fuel compensation after you dial in the initial WOT portion.
Tuning ZDYNE is no different then any of the the other EMS's out there

Re: (Tchleung)
ok .. so fuel comp 180.. base timing 16* , ill try .75 * retard per psi i think that will be ok.. and when u say add fuel at idle and WOT what do u mean? the throttle above point is 80% is that ok or no ?

I mean in the actual fuel maps the table.
Idle will mainly be around 22-16" vacuum, and from 500-1200rpm Alter the maps in there. I believe there is a quick select keystroke to highlight the areas. CTRL+I is IDLE I think, and CTRL+W is WOT Ithink. It's under the EDIT tab

changing the other stuff I mentioned about vacuum etc will effect your idle Air fuel ratios. And no. you have to wire a trigger wire to B11 I think it was. It's in the help menu somewhere

Re: (Tchleung)
ok cool. well im not too worried about it being a lil lean at idle. WOT was my main concern which is now fixed.. i was lookin in the help menu but didnt see nothing about wiring clutch cut.. but its not that important anyway
