Anyone built their own exhaust?
I've done a little bit of welding on my Jeep CJ, two areas on the frame, so I'm familar with welding. I was thinking of purchasing the 2.75" or 3" piping, mandrel bends from JCWhitney or RRE and building my own exhaust. Has anyone out there tried it?
Thanks
Jim
Pics would be cool too...

We just finished welding my exhaust together this last weekend. It came out pretty good, the welds werent the best looking but they work. I used one 4ft 3" pipe and 3 90 degree bends and a thermal muffler, not a axle-back and no cat. Its got a leak where the rear flange connects so I ordered a gasket for it and it should work. Its also REALLY loud for some reason and I am not boosting yet, so im thinking of buying a resignator and hoping it will help and for $25 bux you cant beat it!
