Don't buy a piece of junk ebay manifold and you'll have zero problems.

I should mention, if you DID buy a piece of junk ebay manifold, you should not use a solid brace to the manifold on the wastegate flange - use something that allows for movement of the wastegate as the metal expands without it binding. Putting a solid brace will cause it to tear elsewhere.

Its not the wastegate that causes the cracking .

if its a think good quality manifold you will have no problem. The cheap *** ebay ones for $99's are the ones that need braced/ replaced.

if it is a decently made manifold, good welds, proper penetration and back purged, you should not have any issues.

4 years on a full race ramhorn, wastegate is still there.

Dump tubes will also play a very big part in a manifold cracking there, the excess material hanging off, and vibrating really take a toll .
