In building a turbo ls/vtec with a built jdm type r head, I am hoping to make about 350-380 on 15psi and 450-470 on 22psi c16. It will b a daily driver but I want it to hit 11s and possibly high 10s on slicks. I want to know what you guys think of the setup and if you think the turbo is a good one.

First post your set-up, Not just a turbo.. 350hp Honda's are a shoe in for 11's and I'v seen multiple 350 hp range Hondas hitting high 10's with a very good suspention, slicks, tuning, driver.. ect. There are a lot of variables to consider.

If you are in fact, talking about the size of the compressor inducer wheel, that's a huge bitch for such a goal. I would stick with something in the Garrett 60-1 family or GT series (preferably the GT-3076R if budget allows), the Borg Warner S200 series (preferably the S258), or something from Precision's billet line, like the 5857.

thanks guys for the input the setup is a p n p type r head with manley valves,81.5mm type r block, ls crank, eagle rods, and srp 9:0s, type r cams (for now), 750cc injectors, planning on doing hondata s300 and using boost by gear. I am probably going to get a gt30r, or a gt35r. A friend of mine offered the turbo to me and I was curious of the usage. Also do you guys have any input on me using an ls fifth gear in my type tranny?

Keep the Type R transmission as it is. No need for using the LS fifth gear, even for your uses. Throws you out of the powerband too much going from 4th to 5th, and you lose some acceleration (yes, even though you are in boost
