Default Anybody using these drag tires?

Sorry guys ! I couldn't resist. Project boosted JDM DC2 should be on the road this weekend or next tuesday at the latest.

Now for a technical question:
Who is using a fan on their oil cooler? I need ti rig a fan for my cooler since it will be in the wheel in front of the wheel. I am trying to see how to run the relay off of the radiator fan so I can keep the temps down.

It's not a drag tire, it's a new invent for tires from MICHELIN

Thats not a photochop. Those are actual (from what I remember prototype) tires that were developed. I think they were on Car & Driver or something like that awhile ago showing how it was possible to run pressureless tires. I think I'll be sticking with tradition tires though haha

It's true, and it's called the Michelin Tweel.

I guess I'll see how the RX-7 guys have been tapping their oil cooler fans into radiator fan. I just want to make sure my oil cooler has adequate air flow when I am trapped in traffic (I live on a tropical ROCK).

The pic - some of you guys have no sense of HUMOR whatsoever

Slowpoke - I have the APP SFIDA oil cooler kit so my sandwich has a built-in thermo control unit. Radiator fans are controlled by the temp switch on the head and I have an aftermarket temp sensor switch for the fan. I thought about adding an additional oil temp sensor right before the oil cooler with a relay but tapping into the radiator fan seems to work really well for the RX-7 guys.

My oil cooler is being placed on the passenger side (US driver's side) of the car where the washer fluid bottle was once located. I am planning to add slits to my bumper near the turn signal. Air flow is OK while moving but the air might get a little "stale" when I am stuck in bumpa to bumpa traffic.
