Default Anybody running a P06 converted to P28 on a OBD2 GSR?

I am still unclear weather I'll be able to run IAB's on this ECU. I know it's been converted to a P28, but does anybody who actually have this setup know which procedure I will need to follow to enable my IAB's while running Crome? I've read some threads over at PGMFI.org, but I'm still puzzled because there are no threads that cover my situation ie. P06 -> P28 -> enable IAB's for DOHC vtec. Can somebody please help clarify this for me?

Edit** Will a converted P06 be able to run VTEC?

I saw a IAB plugin i think... a while back when i did a po6->p28 but never really paid much attention to it.

i know this isn't the info you're looking for, but my personal experience is its not worth the headache, just disable them. It makes no significan't low/mid trq on a boosted honda.

What's the purpose of IAB's in the first place then? Not knocking on your experience bro, but wouldn't the engine breath much better during high output with the IAB's open?

I meant to say keep them open at all times. I'm a sohc guy, so i don't really pay attention to the mechanics behind disabling them (pull the vac plug? disconnect the IAB solinoid 12v power?), but you are exactly right... peak HP was sacraficed.

The ECU requires a hardware mod to run IAB's in addition to software. If you're boosted which I assume since you posted in FI than don't even bother with them. If not, you may want to look into them.

OK... so the logic behind leaving the IAB's disabled is for better air velocity's durring boost correct, and this will actually benifit a FI system right?

I'm sure this topic has already been covered, but does anybody else second this opinion (I don't want to say fact, YET) of leaving the IAB's disabled?

The IABs are just used for better low end Torque. If you are running this on your boosted application, you can just wire then open I believe.

And it doesn't matter, P06 or P28, they both require the same mod.

Can someone who actually done this on their setup chime in on this topic? Not saying that your wrong, I just want people with personal experience who've "wired" their IAB's open.

93turbo16, don't bother with the Crome base map anymore man.
