The Buick guys are big into it as well as some of the Supra owners. The downside is having another tank for the methanol and tuning the setup. Methanol isn't too good for some seals in the engine (from what I've heard but I haven't read any reports of problems) but it isn't used too often (under boost) so you should be fine.
The pro's are that it drops your intake temps to around freezing and astronomically raises the octane rating so you can make huge hp on stock gas.

I've only seen propane injection used on turbo desiel trucks. Can it even be used on regular unleaded pump gas?

ive only seen propane on turbo deasel... As for the meth- it would be hard to find methanol for your gas needs. It would be a costly switch over... You can still run 9's on just regular gasoline. Just curious, why do you wanna do the switch??

ive seen it done on a domestic.. street car.
they ran a fuel cell w/ meth, seperate pump, and off course lines , rail n injectors.
then after the run was over...theyd flush the lines w/ regular gas.
seems to work good
propane injection can be used on gas vehicles.

I'd go with Ethanol. Methanol is nasty toxic stuff.
