Default anybody running a homemade turbo?

i'm setting mine up with a mits. 13b instead of that K-03.

im really stuck with setting up the oil and water lines... i have the oil feed and water feed banjos but i dont know how i'm gonna connect the oil banjo to a steel braided line. anyone know where i can pick up a -3an oil feed line with the mitsubishi flange? and whether the 14b pieces will fit on the 13b?

also i was wondering if i could chop the throttle body coolant lines and run them into the turbo instead. it would cool my turbo whiile lowering my intake temps i guess.

I'm running a td04 off a wrx and I just took out those banjo fittings and cross threaded a aluminum fitting in there and it doesn't leak. If you still want to use those banjo fittings you can get a barded fitting with an -3an on the other side. they sell them at summit racing.

thanks man, i think i found the right banjo- -3AN adaptor for the oil feed at summit.

on the water outlet line on your TD04, is it another banjo or does it screw straight in? if you have a banjo fitting, cant you just find something that fits like an NPT with the correct thread pitch and diameter instead of using those stupid banjos?

you are right on how you want to do your coolant lines. just put your turbo inline with your throttle body lines

take the coolant lines off the TB, it will lower you intake temp. The banjo fittings for the 13g are smaller then the 14b.

i'm running the same turbo-i love it! i'm using the stock banjo's with the exception of the feed. i got a earls -an banjo and a barb that threads on and i'm using sae 30r9 line for the oil feed.

For the water coolant lines I had the metal lines that came off of the turbo so I just used some regular coolant line and ran it off a 1st gen b16a oil cooler. It works great. But see if you can get the hard line for the banjo's and cut them like 5-6 inchs off from the banjo and run coolant lines with a hose clamp.
