i need a uberdata basemap for ls/vtec with 3 bar map and 550 injectors that works, i have tried to create one and cant get to work for some reason,

you should go to the uberdata forum and download the latest updated for the 3bar map sensor support and work off that....... it works pretty good.

if u have uberdata 1.7 all u need to do is set the fuel cut to 8. i had problems when i first installed a 3 bar. i thought it was the prgram but the problem was in the wiring of the 3-bar sensor. check ur wiring and just make a basemap for the 550cc's!!!

Sorry to be blunt, but with that attitude you shouldn't use Uberdata as your EMS. You will constantly work little things out and it'll be hard, BUT if you put the time and effort in you'll get it to work. Get someone to Neptune/Hondata tune for you is my advice because it seems like you don't want to put the effort in

That is a ridiculous (sp) statement... I tuned 2 cars this weekend. Both had 3 bars, and I used uberdata for one and crome for the other. They worked exactly the same, if you know your way around both programs they work the same. I actually had more problems with cromes ECT function than I did ubers, but that is neglected since they are the same code anyway.

A basemap with a 3bar is difficult, so the only way to run one, with either program is to get it tuned immediately.

I know I would trust my own basemap over any other map handed to me over the Internet, but to each his own. Hopefully someone will have a basemap for you.

whats ridiculous is how uberdata isnt scriptable...and if it wasnt so damn buggy and crash all the time...i might consider trying it again....but crome is simple and straight forward and written very well....

Uberdata is scriptable. It has been for over two years ago. Uberdata hardly ever crashes also. The only time ive had problems with uberdata crashing was when I was using a very old POS computer full of spyware. But blame uberdata!

Do you really think you should be offering opinions when you dont have any facts straight? You have a preferance, thats all.

As for the problem, its very simple. Open up uberdata 1.70. Open the stockgsr.bin. Go to the boost tab and press 3bar. Then press file, save as. type in a 3bar.bin. Then press file, open, and open 3bar.bin. Now go into the boost tab and find the fuel cut value. it will say 24. Type in 8. File, save. Then go change your injector sizes and disable your various sensors. This has been covered about 50 times.

You obviously haven't been around or been trying the new releases of uberdata. But honestly this isn't a which is better thread. But you bashing it without any facts is redicuous.

It will be nice if they come out with a version that has everything in it, and is complete. But untill then you just have to know what you are doing with both programs to use them to their peak.

Drive directly to a local tuner are the key words there.

I would never drive around on an untuned, UNstock map sensor basemap.
