yeah i know of some honda tech members who have ran that setup on their stock b16. The turbo spools fairly fast even when it's set at 10psi; you can expect full boost by 3400rpms. Because of the smaller turbo the powerband does noticeably platue off around 6500rpm to 8200rpm.
What the member had was basically b16a1 gsr cams, hondata, dsm 450cc, 2.5 custom exhuast with race cat, hsk manifold, stock 15G turbo and downpipe. He made 209whp at 10psi about 165tq peak at 4200rpms. The powerband is what i would call very streetable power usage. It would be one fun car to daily drive w/out having to rev high to reach boost levels.
This 15G would max out at about 12-14psi caue of the internal wg. The turbo it self should be good for about 220whp max.
I would defintly go for it IF I was shooting for somthing simple like daily 7psi (170whp range).

Re: anybody ever ran a greddy 15g turbo on a b16a? (Rocks)
i personally ran a greddy d series manifold with 15g on my b16.
233whp at 9psi.
i found a sweet trick for it to hold 9 till red line. I just took a mbc and connected it to a really strong vaccum source, and i cranked my mbc ALL THE WAY OPEN. and it held 9 psi until redline.

more info on that trick!
I have a apexi turbo with internal WG. I'm trying to get up to 14-15psi w/out boost creeping. Fundementally it should work on any internal wg setup too.

well at first i couldnt get that little guy to hold higher boost to 8200rpm. i would adjust the arm on the greddy waste gate, and get a good pound or two, but not 9 to redline. i always had problems losing boost at higher rpms wiht this small turbo. i sourced my vaccum from my charcol canister because for some reason that was a good vaccum source, so i gained an extra pound there. for a grand total of 6 psi to redline. 8 in the powe band. i boguht a turbo xs manual boost controller, and turned it all the way down on the dnyo. i slowly kept turning it until i started seeing 7 psi at redline. then 8. then 9. then 9 1/2 at 8200rpm. i tried turning it more, and it was maxed out. location of the mbc is important too. i gained more psi at redline putting the mbc farther away from the turbo and closer to the charcol canister. hope that helps you. i never spiked, creeped, it was consistant. i know i could have pulled alot more hp, but my downpipe was really restrictive. that is currently getting redone along with EVERYTHING else.
