Charging buyers a percentage (to pay forwhat Paypal charges you) for using Paypal is "illegal" according to Paypal rules! Not nice Mr!

SMC is all you need. The 2 has more stuff than anyone outside of an indy car would need. The smartest (and nicest) Autronic guy is Ben at G&S. One of the few authorized dealers. He can be reached at http://www.dynospeed.com

I haven't used it myself, but it does look impressive. looking at the software, it definately tells me that isn't for beginners. does that website still offer a demo?
oh wow, looks like they have a new windows version. last time i looked it was still dos. maybe, this is a little easier? still looks intimidating tho.

Re: Any1 use a AUTRONIC on thier honda?? (earl)
Definately. Autronic is a complete, race system. My boss has the SMC on his car (a old school Z, worked) and a buddy has on a VW. It is amazing what can be done. If you want true control over everything in the engine, go with Autronic or DTA. No other system is as powerful.
As far as tuning it goes, this is not for the faint of heart. I know a guy who lost a turbo motor becuase he forgot to check the vacuum advance table. There is a LOT to keep track of as the software is not user friendly. However if you are capable of it, its well worth it.

I've seen a few MR2 owners use the system successfully. They've said that the Autotune function actually works quite well to provide you with a starting point for the maps. However, to use the Autotune function, you need to buy the feature as well as buy/rent/borrow the EGA and use a WBo2.

See if Ben at http://www.dynospeed.com can refer you to someone on the east coast. I think he may have some good ideas for you.

He told me about wide open motorsports, but they don't seem like they really know the system.

Do you really think it is worth it?? I have a speedpro dealer nearby, should I do that instead?? or is the Autronic just that good that I should go out of my way to get it and learn it on my own. I mean I am sure the speedpro dealer could help but I just don't want to F**k something up. What do you think earl?

For EMS's, I think it's important to get what you can tune. If your local dealer tunes Speedpro well, buy that. If they tune Haltech well, get get. Etc...As long as you get a system that provides the functions that you need, it doesn't really matter which one you get.
