Any Skyline Guys in here Need some advice
Hey guys
Friend has a R32 with the RB26. He did GT28 60 trims. Has full exhauts, Upgraded trust intercooler. And he just got a AEM for it. We are looking for injectors. He wants to go 1000cc but im not sure if this is too big.
If anyone can PM me or post here some ideas. And who on here sells direct bolt ins

Don't get direct bolt on injectors, there too much money! Just convert to the standard style with a new rail. With a 60 trim GT28 he will have MORE then enough fuel with 720's. Those motors can make 500HP no problem on a completely stock motor + a new head gasket. You CAN make 500HP NP with the 720's

Don't forget to make sure the oilpump drive on the crank is ok.
What do you mean covert to standerd style injectors? They use 440cc topfeed injectors. The RB20/25's use the sidefeed you may be thinking of.

is a skyline high or low impedance injectors? low would be saturated and high if peak/hold.

if your engine management will control then, i would suggest goin with the 1000's over the 750's.
from personal experience, you will always want more power.
once you max the 720s out, you will have to buy 1000's
might as well get 1000's and not have to worry about the injectors limiting the power.
just my opinion though
good luck

RB uses uses top feed low impedance injectors. Stockers are 440's
YOU WANT TO SWITCH TO TOP FEED INJECTORS AS THERE MUCH CHEAPER!
Nismo, Apexi, Denso, Sard, HKS, and Trust all make ones that will work!
None of you know what your talking about... There is no way he will EVER need 1000cc injectors unless he is going for over 600HP! (NEVER going to happen with that turbo) 720's will support up to at around 550HP at stock fuel pressure on the RB26. I know this for a fact! If you want to go bigger you will have to go with a resistors and its just more wasted money on the setup.
600HP here on 720's with bumped fuel pressure and a T-78!
Don't wast time or money on those massive injectors. the 6 cylinder does NOT need it.

720CC injectors on a 6-cylinder motor will support roughly what 1000CC injectors will support on a 4-cylinder, so take that into consideration.
Given the fact that a lot of 1000CC injectors are the exact same price as 720's, and the fact that you'll be driving them with an AEM, I would just jump to the bigger ones off the bat.

You have it backwards bro, low is peak/hold, and high is saturated.

Gotta ask the same old questions... Is this car a daily driver or a weekend warrior? 720's are definitely enough considering that we've seen Supras push over 600WHP with same sized injectors. Idle/starting/low RPM driveability would be affected quite a bit between with 720's and 1000's
If the car is a weekend warrior, soon enough he'd be wanting to swap turbos and make even more power. 1000cc injectors would be a better investment because we'll know those injectors could push over 800+ and his car would fall apart before it gets there j/k

look guys, your too busy being locke dinto the #s. it doesn;t mater if he got 1600cc injectors. why? the aem can control them correctly and proeprly run the car. your worrying about dumb stuff. if the cost if the larger ones is not that much more than the 720s or the same, then he's stupid to listen to you and get the smaller ones. does he need it now? NO, but he will in the future if he does any internal engine work and wants to hit the 700+ hp marks.
think about what your telling him. get smaller dude it's bettter, but your ecu will run the bigger oens w/o an issue. that;'s jsut plain bad info guys.
bottom line.
get the 1000's and be doen with it. if he ever needs more fuel, then it's there. if not the he jsut has larger injectors, but tot he aem it's not going to be and big deal to tune them.
rememebr it's all in the tune......

ok the common rule of thumb is 1cc = 1hp for injector size, so the 444cc stock gtr injectors are good for 444ish whp. Im running the stock rb26 injectors on my rb20 this year, but the RB26 injectors are interchangeable with peak and hold honda injectors. I used the GTR 444cc's also in my turbo EF d-series and they were perfect and direct bolt in.
So not that you know the clips and injector sizing are same as honda peak and hold injectors your options are limitless. 1000CC injectors are not too big if you can tune them. I picked up 980's for next year and I am running AEM on my R32 this year and 1000's shouldnt give you a problem.
