Any SAFC tuning tips for 370CC injectors on a 1994 Integra LS?
I plan to run turbo within a few months. I am piecing together my turbo kit over the waiting period. I am also installing components piece by piece (those pieces that can work with/ without the turbo on the car). I just installed my Apexi SAFC and i got my RC 370CC injectors in the mail. My question is this: What settings for the SAFC should I use to smooth out the idle and avoid a CEL? I plan to use these for my stock engine (just intake and exhaust) until i go F/I. thanks for the help guys.

idle fuel pressure is at 60psi, safc is tuned at -46% across the board on lo and hi and it idles like stock... I will be running the afc hack myself within a week, just waiting for my new rc440's....

Re: Any SAFC tuning tips for 370CC injectors on a 1994 Integra LS? (DRAG lll INTEGRA)
Ok, finally put in the 370cc injectors. First, the o-rings supplied with RC injectors did not give enough clearance for the fuel rail mounting screws to be put back on. So i had to take an exacto knife and cut them in half. that seemed to work, no leakage as of yet. Then the tuning came. I had heard -46% was a good idea across the board, i tried it, and my engine would stall. Then i slowly tried decreasing the negativity, and got it to smooth out around -30% across the board. The only discrepency is when i am pulling up to a light and i push the clutch in, the tach looks like it will die (the needle almost hits 0) and then i guess the ECU compensates and brings it back up to about 750RPM. I should also say that I adjusted the IAC valve so much that the intake filter (AEM style) started to whistle at idle. One other thing i noticed while test-driving was the throttle engagement. WHen ever i would let off the throttle and then push it down again, i would feel a jolt, much more pronounced than with the stock injectors. any and all feedback is appreciated.

With larger injectors you need more fuel at idle. Reason is larger injectors take longer to open so for short pulsewidths less fuel is deliverd than you would expect based on injector size alone. So try a -35% cut at idle and -46% everywhere else. Your surging is too much fuel, your almost dying is too little.

Well, i got the idle down to a smooth level still around -30%. The other RPMs (2000 and above) still surge even with the SAFC set at -50% all the way from 2000RPM to 8000RPM. could it have something to do with the throttle percentages?

Ok i called InlinePro. THey said to do -35% all around, all RPM, all throttle levels. I tried that, i still feel like my car will die at idle, so i pushed 1000RPM to -30%. but everything else is like Inline Pro said.

and my idle RPMS dropped real low like it would die at stock fuel pressure ... i Lowered the fuel pressure and now my car idles stock..
so i dont understand the increasing fuel pressure suggestion?
