Default Any pics of your InlinePRO T3 B series clearance?

Just looking for some people that are running the cast stainless T3 manifold (AC/PS compatible) from InlinePRO. Only interested in seeing the setups that are orienting the turbo correctly for AC/PS to be retained (IE: Compressor housing on passenger side). What turbo do you have, what kind of clearance do you have between the turbo and the block, and how much (if any) did you have to grind?

Thanks.

Any T3/T04E with E compressor cover will fit as long as you have a Ford Style 5 bolt flange on a Garrett/Precision/Turbonetics turbocharger, or even an e-bay 5 bolt style turbo. It's been that way since 1999. If you have something different than that configuration of turbo, then you will have fitment issues.

Im glad we have people with facts that are dead on. I was runnin that exact setup before I moved up to a ramhorn and a DBB 6262.

Inline pro manifold, sc61 e cover, 5 bolt flange.Everything fit up just right, no notching the block or anything.

how tight was this with the radiator fans?

also what's the deal with the 5 bolt vs 4 bolt flanges with fitment. i REALLY like the clearance of this manifold and it shot to the top of my "what manifold to buy" list after seeing the pics and dyno charts. doesn't seem to choke post 6500 like a few of the logs

The 5 bolt ford-style turbine housing puts the turbine wheel for the downpipe at an off angle, allowing the compressor cover to sit closer to the block. The downpipe angle then allows the downpipe to run where PS and A/C are allowed

so in other words for my full radiator with PS application it would be really smart to use the 5 bolt ford flange?

to add to his reply... the rotation also allows clearence of the compressor cover to the block where the bellhousing area is. in perspective it "moves" the whole turbo closer to the driver side of the car, not in a bad way.

Makes sense now on the exhaust housing placing things a bit differently. My 57 trim was a 4 bolt turbine housing and the compressor housing was hitting the block. My new turbo will be here today and it has the Ford 5 bolt flange. I'll test fit that with (I'm sure) much better results. I'll snap a few pics of the mock up so people have a very good idea on all clearances. Even though we know it clears with a certain setup, it will be nice to see what clears and what doesn't. I'll put my 4 bolt outlet turbo back on to show the issue with it in case that question comes up.

clearance as far as the fan is tight, you have to run a slim fan if you want to run a filter on the turbo, but if you dont run a filter then you will be fine with stock fan, but driving it on the roads like that will tear up the fins on the turbo inlet, heres mine sc61

i had to shave a little off the block where its stamped it said b18c1, once done shaving enough to clear the inlet housing the 1 was almost gone, but it fits, its unfortunante that it had to be shaved but love my sc61, not sure on the specs of the turbo but its stamped, .63 inlet, and .82 outlet, it says precision turbo and engine, so i assumed it was an sc61

I just bolted my manifold and turbo up yesterday. I have a precision sc34 t3 to4e 5 bolt and the ac/ps inline pro manifold. I had to do minimal grinding to the block. Like 5 minutes worth at best with test fitting. My 1 is missing also now and a tad bit of the webbing. Way less grinding then my old blox manifold and the same turbo on a LS motor.

if i buy a downpipe fabbed for a 4bolt housing and have a 5 bolt flange welded on to be used with it on a 5 bolt discharge turbo, i shouldnt have any clearance issues i assume?

im running a ebay 3 inch downpipe with the 5 bolt flange right now, and it looks good, and seems to be a decent downpipe, ive had it for 3 months now with no complaints, and i payed 80$ shipped, it seems like it wouldnt be worth the trouble

Here are the ones listed if you look real quick. Looks like all of the 3" ones are the same piece, just different prices.

Edit: Unless the downpipe kicks under the turbo (not 90 degrees down then 90 degrees over to go under turbo) I don't see it clearing the AC compressor.

Yea, you'll have to run slim fans with the inline pro. I loved the sc61 I had, ive seen it on a lot of hondas, makes great power. Just have some one make you a down pipe man. I went to LHT and John over there did a great job getting my 3 inch downpipe fitted with no problems. I ran the 3 inch downpipe to an e cut out, with the cutout open we picked up 7 wheel hp on the dyno. Id always opt for the 3 inch DP.

inline pro makes a stainless 3" downpipe for their manifold so a guy doesn't have to look too far, spoolin even has a 2.5" version for it

as far as clearance this, at least from pics had some of the best front clearance for a full size radiator and slim fans. to me this was a BIG deal and the reason i'm ordering this manifold.

in fact, here's the thread with all the pics

I have an Innovative BB 60-1 on mine and I had to add 2 1/2in spacers to make it fit. So technically It can be made to fit but it will be really close to the fans. I will post up pictures later when I have time.

Has anyone ever used a t3 based turbo with a v-band turbine housing? i know the 5 bolt flanges work with turbos such as the SC61m but I'm curious as to other potential options.

Can't do that. don't try to weld one flange type directly onto another on the turbine housing. Get a replacement housing that is a Ford-style 5 bolt.
