Is any one Running SOHC turbo with out thermostat ?
My car has been comming close to over heating so i have to keep putting the heat on . But if i ran with out a thermostat would that change the temp setting . Seeing that the coolant would be running all the time !

bad idea. You need to find the root cause of the problem, trying to bandaid it by removing the stat will only compound the problem. I recommend researching the consequences of removing a thermostat, and understanding why it's there.

Re: (fjt)
From what i have read...having no thermostat, especailly on a street car will not disapate the heat like it should. The water rushes thru the jackets to fast to pick up any heat from them. Not sure if this is true or not...Plus on a turbo car...your temps fluxuate to much without a thermostat cuasing a tune to run a little rich or a little lean depending at what temperature you were tuned at...

WTF? Total misinformation...
Not running a thermostat will only cause your motor to not come up to correct operating temperature, which is bad.
Find the problem instead of half-assing a fix and taking steps backawards.
Condition of your radiator?
Condition of rad cap?
Correct coolant level?
Bled the coolant?
Hoses in good shape, no coolant leaks?
Head gasket in good shape?
Cooling fan working?
All stuff you should go over on the car

Im not running one, runs just fine, takes a good 2 minutes extra to get up to operating temp though, I usually let my car idle for a second while Im strapping in the harness and attaching the steering wheel though so its no bother for me

Which part is misinformation? The VTEC part or the car running right part?
Engine temperature is one of the inputs for VTEC.

no the part about running w/o a thermostat and it being fine. Your gonna have issues with the car getting up to correct operating temp. Pulling the tstat is just a baindaid for a cooling issue that needs to be addressed.

I pulled mine because mine failed and I had no other choice on the side of the road if I wanted to get home, never changed it and put one back in
