My old roommate had a zc turbo. It was a HMT kit that we made. It has
HF manifold
DSM BOV
Tirus intercooler
t3 60 trim 48ar
turboedit

He is currently running about 10 psi but im at 6000ft so its about the same as running 7.5 at sealevel. He hasent run it on the dyno but he should be getting about 200hp at the wheels at least.

I'm interested to.
It's really hard to find stuff becuase u can't search for ZC.
Try searching for DOHC and you might find more

There are a few old setups on HMT turbo you can look at. I know the weakest part of the whole set up is the D series rods it has but it is still sweet.

I have a fully built dohc ZC setup in my 93 hatch.

my setup is...

golden eagle sleeved block 75mm std bore
Custom wesico pistons
crower rods
JG Pro series head
JG cams
JG valve train
Custom intake manifold
Custom sidewinder style exhaust manifold
60trim t3/t4 .63ar turbo
900cc injectors
hondata/neptune/something that doesnt suck
Around 9.3-9.4:1 compression

As far as power and 1/4 time...well i havent done either of them. With my super ghetto uberdata tune and 15psi of boost with 450cc injectors maxed out it feels around 260whp to me according to my butt dyno which isnt great but its at like 10:1 A/F and 8 degrees of timing. (i didnt wanna blow it up so i tuned it super rich)

The goals of my project is 300-350whp on pump gas and over 400whp on race gas.

Ive bought new 900cc injectors and am waiting on taking it to be tuned on a dyno. Ill post results here when i get them.

Tuned a guys ZC on turboedit at 8psi to 171 whp I believe. I think the turbo was a 14b but I cant remember exactly. It was in a REX and he is from Harrisburg, PA.

hey guys got my ZC DOHC Setup all done in the weekend
oh yeah the oil patch is where the oil return line came off cause i forgot to clamp it
setup

VF10 turbo
450cc injectors
FMIC
2" Intercooler plumbing
2.5" exhaust straight through
full Link engine managment

runing 5psi on a ruff tune but running really awesome all the same a huge power increase getting tuned to 12psi
very soon

heres some pics i'll get some better ones as we finished it at 10pm at night so they abit dark








just got to paint it

i done all the work made the manifold intercooler plumbing everything

my mate welded up the intercooler quickly for me he wanted to learn how to weld so he done all right for his second go

i was too busy making the manifold to weld it up.

shadbolt cams
hoping for 200+whp
right now probably sits at around 160ish whp, but it falls flat on its face at 5500+rpms, turbo is way too small for this engine, this engine likes to rev.




i know its sad, but it was only a temporary setup so i coudl leanr everythign i need to know. definetley cant wait tio upgrade it, it shoudl be scary fast.

this is my old setup:

obd1 dohc zc
hf manifold w/ bmc racing adaptor
t3 turbo from a skyline
custom isuzu npr intercooler (huge)
afc-hack and dsm 450's
ghetto charge pipes and bov at the time

ran great until piston rings started to go out and started smoking like a bitch







this was about a year ago...have gone b-series but going back to dohc zc turbo w/ zc tranny if everything goes as planned
