there are two types of fans puller and pusher. One goes on the back side of the radiator like stock(puller) and the other goes on the front side of the radiator(pusher)

Did you wire them the same way the stock fans were wired? How much did they cost, what brand, and where did you get them?

if you decide to get the fans, go with the 12s. but from the pic i posted you can see the stock fan and ac is still retained. only problem with the pic i posted is that the way the wastegate is supposed to be mounted there is no way to run a dumptube, which we have all learned is a big NO NO.

Do you have to run a dump tube? Why did he add the adapter bend why not just mount the wastegate on top of the manifold?

I hope you know these fans pull when the polarity is reversed.

the wastegate will hit the hood if you just mount it to the mani. that elbow lets it clear but there is no way to run a dump that way. you dont really HAVE to run a dump but jeff evans has proven that it robs alot of power. check out the evans-tuning forums or search on here and you can see some dyno comparisons. you dont want those dirty exhaust gases being sucked into the turbo.

Who are you trying to impress? lol
All he needs to do is spend 5 secs looking at the instructions (not like anyone here does not know that an electric motor spins the other way with reversed polarity).
You should have asked him if he switched the fan blades around if it was reversible

hope the owner doesnt mind me posting his car. i bought this kit from him about a year ago. </TD></TR></TABLE>
i don't know if it's just the pic. where does the wastegate dump to??? i don't see piping. kinda looks like it's being recirculated right back into the mani BEFORE the turbo, which would be pretty much pointless...or is it just left open dump without any piping???

i think its just left open without any piping. But Muck how did you keep ur wastegate sitting up to clear the hood without the 90 bend?

Re: Any one got any Pictures of a Rev Hard Kit on GSR? (95dc2teg)
wouldn't that be robbing his power? recirculating exhaust right into the compressor inlet. there's no filter or intake pipe. bad idea...

yeah i mentioned before that mounting the elbow like that doesnt provide clearance for a dumptube. in that pic the wastegate is just open dumping right on top of the mani (not actually into it) i dunno why revhard makes the elbow like that. if you had an elbow that rotated the wastegate about 90* then maybe a dumptube could be run. but with it facing down there is just no room for piping.

yeah this is not the optimal mounting position but it is how the kit comes from revhard. with the log manis tial wastegates generally dont clear the hood on gsr motors. ive seen some mods to the hood webbing to make it clear. but i think thee is pretty much no chance once the EBC fitting is on top. you can see muckman doesnt have an ebc in that pic.
i ran it this way for a while but have since purchased the turbosmart wg and got a dumptube made for that. its much shorter and clears fine. plus the fittings go into the side not the top.

do u have to have the ebc fitting if u dont have a boost controller? or can u run with it off like muckman?

if you dont have an electronic boost controller then the top port can stay open like muckman had.
